Answers to questions

What we're frequently asked

How do i know which service is right for me?

It’s totally normal to feel unsure about where to start. If you’re not sure whether you need counselling, behaviour support or something else, you can book a first appointment and we’ll figure it out together. We’ll talk through what’s going on for you and what kind of support might help most. You won’t be locked into anything, this is about finding what fits.

Yes, absolutely. If having a partner, family member or support person with you helps you feel more comfortable, they’re welcome to join. Just let us know beforehand so we can make sure the space (or Zoom session) works for it. Some people bring someone to their first session and then come alone later, it’s all about what feels right for you.

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to come in with a script or have it all figured out. Sometimes just showing up is the biggest step. If you get emotional or stuck, we’ll slow things down. There’s no judgement and no rush. Sessions are a space to be real, not to perform or explain everything perfectly.

Yes, in fact, supporting parents of neurodivergent children is a big part of what we do. We understand the messy, beautiful, frustrating parts of the journey, and we’ll meet you in it without judgement. Whether you need tools, reassurance or just a place to talk freely, we’re here to help you feel supported and better equipped.

Yes, we can provide letters or supporting documents for NDIS reviews, school meetings or other services, where appropriate and based on our professional involvement. If this is something you’ll need, just bring it up during a session and we’ll discuss what’s possible. We make sure everything is written clearly, respectfully, and with your input where it matters.
